计量器具型式批准证书（PAC）在俄罗斯境内的有效期不得超过5年（批量生产）。过期后，所有者必须进行重复试验，以便重新确认是否符合法规要求。之所以需要这样做，是因为在测量设备使用期间，可能会进行调整和更改，从而改变仪器的特性，例如精度。反复测试可以确定当前的精度参数。在某些情况下，Rostekhregulirovanie决定在不对测量仪器进行新的测试的情况下再次签发PAC证书。
